One day on the drive home from school AJ shared a new idea with me.
He said "Mom, I want to have a 'Girlfriend Club'."
Oh really, I thought. I asked him "What is a girlfriend club?"
He explained "It's where I invite ALL my girlfriends over to my house. We will play in the backyard together. And then they will all line up and I can decide which one is my BEST girlfriend!"
(I'm so glad he couldn't see the look on my face or hear me laughing.)
Kind of sounds familiar, don't ya' think? And this is from the same child who was concerned about being "girl trapped" at the lunch table just three weeks ago. I don't think it bothers him anymore ;)
Any of you with young daughters better be on the alert if you receive a playdate invitation from AJ!

Are you sure he can't be the next bachelor? They could have playground dates instead of hot tub dates...ha!
I think his has the right idea. Pick a girl out early and raise her up right! Joking, of course.
